Our general service area for sign installation is Shelby County. We offer lighted sign installation, as well as installation for non-lighted dimensional letters, large format banners, window graphics, post & panel signs and more. Lighted signs need to have electrical already wired to the installation site for our installer to connect. If you do not have electrical going to the sign area, you will need to contract a licensed electrician who will wire it and pull the electrical permit.
It is highly recommended that you get a sign permit approved before ordering your sign. However, if you do not have a permit we can assist with the process before installation. Sign code changes frequently, and what was permitted just a few months ago might not be permitted today! Any change or modification to an existing sign must go through the permit approval process set by your city.
Sign Repair
If you need sign repair such as burned out bulbs or wind damage, we can help! We will schedule a pre-paid bucket truck service call for our sign tech to diagnose the issue. It could need bulb replacement, ballast replacement, switch repair, or power supply. Signworks will then call you with a repair estimate for your approval. If the tech has the parts on hand, he will repair the sign on the spot. Parts and labor are in addition to the initial service call fee.
Quite often it’s just a few bulbs that have burned out. The cost of bulbs varies greatly depending on the type of sign and how it was manufactured, from a $20 bulb to having to replace an entire lighting strip. Unfortunately, we have no way of estimating this before a sign repair service call is performed.

Sign Revision & Refacing
Quite often, customers request that we make structural improvements to an existing sign while we are replacing the faces. We’ve modified pole signs for rebrands, as well as updated the overall look of the sign. If you would like your sign revised, please give us a call to discuss your project. Any change or modification on an existing sign also has to go through the permitting process in your city.
